Epaderm Ointment - 500g

Epaderm Ointment 500g is a clinically proven emollient treatment designed to manage dry, sensitive and eczema‑prone skin by helping to lock in moisture, support the skin’s natural barrier and reduce dryness‑related discomfort. It is a rich, versatile formula that can be used in three ways: as a direct moisturiser, a bath additive, or a skin cleanser, making it suitable for everyday skincare routines and intensive care during flare‑ups.

This ointment is free from fragrances, colouring, sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS), parabens and steroids, so it is gentle on sensitive skin and suitable for all ages, including babies and children.

Directions for use (UK pharmacy compliant):

As a moisturiser:

1. Apply generously and frequently to the affected dry skin areas.
2. Smooth the ointment in the direction of hair growth to help prevent follicle blockage.
3. Use as often as required, particularly after bathing or washing to help retain moisture.

As a skin cleanser (soap substitute):

1. Scoop a small amount from the tub.
2. Lather it under warm water and use as you would a regular soap.
3. Rinse and gently pat the skin dry to retain the emollient layer.

As a bath additive:

1. Take approximately 4g (about the size of a £2 coin) and melt in a container of hot water.
2. Let it cool sufficiently before adding to the bath.
3. Soak in the emollient‑enriched water for optimum hydration.
4. Caution: Bath surfaces may become slippery when emollients are present.

Contains:

• White Soft Paraffin 30% w/w
• Liquid Paraffin 40% w/w

Other ingredients:

• Emulsifying Wax
