Hedex Extra - 16 Tablets

Hedex Extra – 16 Tablets is a trusted pain relief medicine formulated to provide effective relief from headaches, migraines, toothache, backache, period pain, neuralgia and other mild to moderate aches and pains.

Each tablet contains paracetamol, a well-established analgesic and antipyretic, combined with caffeine, which is known to help enhance pain relief in headache and migraine treatment. Hedex Extra can also be used to reduce fever and relieve discomfort associated with colds and flu.

This product is suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over and is ideal for short-term use when pain relief is required. Always use as directed and in line with the patient information leaflet.

Active Ingredients (per tablet):

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Caffeine 65 mg

Other Ingredients:

• Maize starch
• Povidone
• Potassium sorbate
• Stearic acid
• Purified talc

Directions for use

Always read the enclosed leaflet before use.

Adults and children aged 12 years and over:

• Take 1–2 tablets every 4–6 hours as needed.
• Do not take more than 8 tablets in any 24-hour period.
• Swallow tablets with water.

Important Usage Advice:

• Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
• Do not give to children under 12 years of age.
• Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time necessary to relieve symptoms.
• If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, consult a pharmacist or GP.

Warnings

• Do not take with any other paracetamol-containing products.
• Taking more than the recommended dose can cause serious liver damage, even if you feel well.
• Do not use if you are allergic to paracetamol, caffeine, or any other ingredients.
• Consult a doctor before use if you have liver or kidney disease, or if you regularly consume large amounts of alcohol.
• Contains caffeine — avoid excessive intake of caffeine from other sources (e.g. coffee, tea, energy drinks) while taking this medicine.

Possible Side Effects

Side effects are rare when taken as directed, but may include:

• Allergic reactions such as skin rash
• Nausea or stomach discomfort
• Difficulty sleeping or restlessness (due to caffeine)
