Leave-in conditioning spray to help stop head lice taking hold. Apply after hair washing or at least twice weekly. Suitable from 6 months.
Description
Hedrin Protect & Go Spray is a leave-in conditioning spray designed to help protect against head lice infestations when used regularly. It is intended for use as part of your normal hair-care routine, especially during times when head lice are common (for example school terms, sleepovers, clubs and playdates).
How it works:
- Formulated with Activdiol® (octane-1,2-diol) to help disrupt the head louse life cycle, so lice are less able to take hold and start an infestation.
Key features:
- Water-based conditioner that can be used on wet or dry hair and left in (no rinsing needed).
- Helps keep hair conditioned and manageable while used as a preventative step.
- Suitable for adults and children from 6 months.
Note: This product is for protection/prevention and is not a treatment for an established head lice infestation. If live lice are present, use an appropriate head lice treatment first, then restart Protect & Go as part of your routine.
How to Use
Use regularly as part of your normal hair hygiene routine.
Adults and children over 6 months
- Apply after every hair wash or at least twice a week.
On wet hair
- Towel-dry hair.
- Spray evenly through the hair and comb through to distribute.
- Leave in. Blow-dry or allow to dry naturally.
On dry hair
- Spray evenly through the hair and comb through.
- Leave to dry naturally or use a hair dryer if preferred.
Practical tips:
- Apply close enough to coat the hair well, especially around the nape and behind the ears (common sites for lice).
- Avoid spraying into the face; apply in a well-ventilated area.
Ingredients
Contains: Octane-1,2-diol 1% w/w (Activdiol®), PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, PEG-12 Dimethicone, Carbomer, Sodium Hydroxide, Fragrance (contains Limonene), Water.

Side Effects & Warnings
For external use only.
Avoid contact with eyes and face. If product gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
Do not breathe the spray.
Stop use if skin irritation or sensitivity occurs and seek advice if symptoms persist.
Contains fragrance allergens including limonene (may cause sensitivity in some people).
Keep hair away from naked flames and normal fire safety precautions should be observed when using hair products.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
