Product Overview
Leave-in head lice spray for dry hair. Leave at least 8 hours then shampoo out. Repeat after 7 days. Suitable from 6 months.
Description
Hedrin Treat & Go Head Lice Spray is a leave-in, water-based head lice treatment designed for busy routines. The light spray spreads quickly through dry hair, dries without a sticky feel, and is washed out later, making it suitable for daytime wear or overnight use.
It contains Activdiol® (octane-1,2-diol) and works by physical action on head lice, disrupting their protective outer layer so they dehydrate and die, rather than relying on traditional pesticide insecticides.
Key features:
- Kills head lice and eggs with an 8-hour (or overnight) leave-in application
- Two applications are needed, 7 days apart, to help stop any newly hatched lice
- Suitable for adults and children from 6 months
- Water-based formula that rinses/shampoos out easily
How to Use
Always read the instructions on the pack before use.
- Shake well before use.
- Use on dry hair. Cover shoulders with a towel.
- Hold the spray about 10cm from the hair and apply enough solution to fully cover the scalp and saturate hair from root to tip.
- Work through thoroughly with fingers or a comb to ensure even coverage.
- Allow hair to dry naturally (or use a hair dryer if preferred).
- Leave on for at least 8 hours (overnight is fine).
- Rinse or shampoo out using your normal shampoo.
- Repeat after 7 days to help treat any lice that may hatch after the first application.
Practical hygiene steps (help reduce re-infestation): check close contacts and treat anyone with live lice, and wash/heat-dry recently used hair accessories where possible.
