Description
Lumecare Carbomer Cooling and Soothing Eye Gel 0.2% is a sterile, transparent lubricating eye gel designed to hydrate, protect and soothe the surface of the eye when tears dry out too quickly or are insufficient. It is formulated to provide longer-lasting moisture retention than standard drops, helping to ease symptoms associated with dry eyes.
The gel provides a soothing, cooling sensation as it starts to work and is intended to help relieve dry eye discomfort such as:
- Dryness, soreness, irritation
- Grittiness/foreign-body sensation
- Tired eyes linked to environmental factors (heating/air-con, wind, smoke, dust) or prolonged screen time

How to Use
For use in the eyes only.
Dose
- Apply 1 drop into the affected eye(s) as needed (or as advised by a healthcare professional).
Step-by-step
- Wash and dry hands.
- Remove the cap.
- Tilt head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a pocket.
- Hold the tube above the eye and squeeze gently to instil one drop.
- Blink a few times to spread the gel evenly.
- Replace the cap straight after use.
Contact lenses
- Product listings state it is suitable for people who wear contact lenses. If your lenses cause irritation or your optometrist has advised otherwise, remove lenses before use and reinsert once vision is clear and eyes feel comfortable.
Using with other eye products
- If using additional eye drops/ointments, leave a gap between products and use this gel last when possible (to maintain the protective gel layer).

Do not use
- If you are allergic/hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.
- If the tube is damaged or the contents look abnormal.
Possible effects
- A brief stinging sensation, mild irritation, or temporary blurred vision can occur after application. If blurred, wait until your vision clears before driving or operating machinery.
Important warnings (pharmacy/SOP style)
- Do not touch the tip of the tube to the eye, eyelids, fingers, or any surface (reduces contamination/infection risk).
- Stop use and seek advice urgently if you develop eye pain, significant redness, swelling, discharge, light sensitivity, or changes in vision, or if symptoms worsen.
- If symptoms persist, consult a pharmacist/optometrist/GP to rule out infection, injury, allergy, or other causes of red eye.
