Product Overview
Pack of 2 MAM SkinSoft™ silicone bottle teats with a fast flow (Size 3), symmetric shape and air valve to support an even flow. Suitable from around 4+ months and fits all MAM bottles.
Description
MAM Fast Flow bottle teats are designed for babies who are ready for a quicker milk flow, typically from around 4+ months (every baby is different). The teat uses MAM SkinSoft™ silicone with a soft, skin-like feel, and a symmetric shape so it sits correctly in your baby’s mouth whichever way it’s fitted.
An integrated air valve helps prevent the teat from collapsing and supports a smoother, more even drinking flow. These teats are compatible with all MAM bottles (and the Trainer+), making it easy to swap flow rates as feeding needs change.

How to Use
Preparation and hygiene (follow pack instructions)
- Before first use: clean the teat and place in boiling water for 5 minutes.
- Before each use: wash in warm soapy water, rinse well, then sterilise. Avoid soaps with alcohol, chlorine and/or microplastics.
- Sterilise after cleaning using one of the following: steam steriliser (electric/microwave), boiling water, or an appropriate liquid sterilising solution (follow the steriliser/solution directions).
Fitting
- Wash hands. Ensure bottle parts and teat are clean and sterilised.
- Insert the teat into the bottle screw ring until you hear a “click” (as described by the manufacturer).
- Prepare feeds as directed by the infant formula manufacturer (if using formula).
- Check flow and always test feed temperature before feeding.
Helpful tip (air valve)
- If the ventilation slit sticks and the teat collapses during feeding, gently brush over the raised ventilation area with your thumb/fingers to reopen it.
Replacement
- Replace teats every 1–2 months, or sooner if worn or damaged.
Ingredients
Material: Silicone.
Side Effects & Warnings
Safety warnings
- Continuous and prolonged sucking of fluids may cause tooth decay.
- Always check food temperature before feeding.
- Throw away at the first signs of damage, weakness or wear.
- Keep components not in use out of reach of children.
- Never attach to cords, ribbons, laces or loose clothing (strangulation risk).
- Never use feeding teats as a soother.
- Always use with adult supervision.
Use and care precautions
- Do not use pins or sharp objects to enlarge the feeding hole.
- Do not leave the teat in sterilising solution longer than recommended and avoid direct sunlight/heat, as this may weaken the teat and affect function.
- Dishwasher use (top rack) may discolour silicone due to food colourings (function is not necessarily affected).
Side effects
The teat itself is not expected to cause side effects when used as directed. If your baby shows signs of distress during feeds (for example persistent coughing/choking, vomiting, rash, wheeze, swelling, or breathing difficulty), stop feeding and seek medical advice urgently.
