Medihoney Barrier Cream - 50g

Medihoney Barrier Cream is a protective moisture barrier designed to help maintain the skin’s natural barrier function, moisture balance and skin pH. It can be applied to intact (unbroken) skin that is at risk of breakdown from moisture, body fluids and friction.

Formulated with 30% antibacterial Leptospermum (Manuka) honey, this barrier cream forms a protective layer to help reduce the risk of skin damage associated with:

• Incontinence and moisture exposure (e.g., urine/faeces under pads)
• Skin folds and chafing/friction/shear
• Peri-wound protection (helping protect intact skin around wound edges from irritation caused by exudate and dressings)
• Frequent washing where skin becomes dry, sore or prone to irritation

Free from added colour or fragrance, and commonly listed as free from lanolin, parabens, steroids and mineral oils.
