ZeroBase Emollient Cream - 500g

ZeroBase® Emollient Cream 500g is a rich, fragrance-free moisturising cream formulated to help manage dry, very dry and eczema-prone skin. It is suitable for a range of dry skin conditions including eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis and ichthyosis, as well as everyday dryness caused by frequent washing, environmental exposure or ageing skin.

ZeroBase® Cream works by hydrating the skin and forming a protective barrier on the skin’s surface. This helps to reduce moisture loss, soften rough skin and relieve itching, dryness and irritation. With regular use, it supports the skin’s natural barrier function and improves overall skin comfort.

The formulation is non-greasy, fragrance-free and suitable for use on both the face and body. It can be used by adults, children and infants, making it suitable for long-term family use. The large 500g pack is ideal for frequent application and ongoing skin care.

As a leave-on moisturiser:

• Apply generously to the affected areas.
• Use 2–3 times daily, or as often as required.

As part of a skincare routine:

• Apply after bathing or washing, while the skin is still slightly damp, to help lock in moisture.
• Smooth gently into the skin; avoid vigorous rubbing.

ZeroBase® Emollient Cream can be used regularly and alongside other prescribed or recommended treatments, unless advised otherwise by a healthcare professional.

Avoid contact with eyes. If product gets into the eyes, rinse well with water.

Key Emollient Components:

• Liquid Paraffin 11% w/w – occlusive agent that traps moisture in the skin.
• White Soft Paraffin – barrier‑forming emollient to reduce water loss.

Other Ingredients:

• Cetostearyl Alcohol – skin‑conditioning agent.
• Macrogol Cetostearyl Ether – emulsifier.
• Sodium Dihydrogen Phosphate Dihydrate – buffering agent.
• Chlorocresol – preservative.
• Phosphoric Acid – pH adjuster.
• Purified Water – base solvent.

Product Characteristics:

• Fragrance‑free, dye‑free and suitable for sensitive skin.
• Formulated as a moisturising cream that may also be used as a soap substitute. 

Warnings & Precautions:

• For external use only. Do not swallow.
• Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
• Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients listed.
• Do not apply to broken, badly cracked, infected or bleeding skin without medical advice.
• Fragrance‑free products can still contain cetostearyl alcohol and chlorocresol, which may cause local skin reactions or allergic contact dermatitis in sensitive individuals; discontinue use if irritation occurs and seek advice from a clinician.
• Paraffin‑based emollients can make clothing, bedding and dressings more flammable. Avoid exposure to naked flames, cigarettes and heat sources while emollient is in contact with fabrics; wash fabrics regularly at high temperature to reduce build‑up.
• Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
• Store below 25 °C and keep the container tightly closed.

• Rarely, mild local irritation, redness or rash may occur; if persistent, stop use and consult a pharmacist or doctor.

• Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is unlikely to have ill effects when used as directed; if unsure, consult a healthcare professional.
