Nurofen Express 200mg - 16 Liquid Capsules

Nurofen Express 200mg – 16 Liquid Capsules is a fast-acting pain relief medicine containing ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).

The liquid-filled capsule format allows ibuprofen to be absorbed more quickly than standard tablets, helping it reach the source of pain faster. Nurofen Express provides effective relief from pain, inflammation and fever, making it suitable for everyday aches and pains.

It helps relieve:

• Headache and migraine
• Back pain
• Muscular aches and sprains
• Dental pain
• Period pain
• Fever and cold & flu-related aches
• Suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over, Nurofen Express is intended for short-term use only.

Adults and children aged 12 years and over:

• Take 1–2 capsules, up to three times daily as required.

Maximum dose:

• Do not take more than 6 capsules (1200mg) in 24 hours.

UK pharmacy-aligned guidance:

• Swallow capsules whole with water.
• Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
• Take with food or milk if stomach irritation occurs.
• Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time necessary.
• If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, worsen or new symptoms occur, seek medical advice.

Warnings & Precautions

• Contains ibuprofen, an NSAID.
• Do not exceed the stated dose.
• Avoid use if dehydrated.

Do NOT take this medicine if you:

• Are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin or other NSAIDs.
• Have or have had a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding.
• Have severe heart, kidney or liver disease.
• Are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.
• Are under 12 years of age.

Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you:

• Have asthma, high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney problems or gastrointestinal conditions.
• Are elderly.
• Are taking blood thinners, steroids or other pain medicines.
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Possible Side Effects

Like all medicines, Nurofen Express can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. These may include:

• Stomach pain, indigestion or nausea
• Headache or dizziness
• Allergic reactions such as rash or wheezing (rare)
• Gastrointestinal bleeding (very rare but serious)

⚠️ Stop use and seek medical advice immediately if you experience black stools, vomiting blood, severe stomach pain or breathing difficulties.

Storage

• Store below 25°C.
• Keep capsules in the original packaging.
• Keep out of sight and reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date shown on the pack.
