Description
Nurofen Max Strength Joint & Back Pain Relief – 24 Tablets is a maximum-strength pain relief medicine containing ibuprofen 400 mg, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID).
It is specifically formulated to provide effective relief from:
- Joint pain
- Back pain
- Muscular aches and pains
- Rheumatic and inflammatory pain
Ibuprofen works by reducing inflammation at the source of pain, helping to relieve swelling, stiffness and discomfort. Nurofen Max Strength tablets are designed for adults who require stronger pain relief and are suitable for short-term use.
How to Use
Adults and young people aged 12 years and over:
- Take 1 tablet (400 mg) with water.
- If necessary, take up to 3 times daily.
Maximum dose:
- Do not take more than 3 tablets (1200 mg) in 24 hours.

- Take with or after food to reduce the risk of stomach irritation.
- Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
- Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time necessary.
- If pain persists for more than 10 days or worsens, seek medical advice.

- Contains ibuprofen. Do not exceed the stated dose.

Do NOT take this medicine if you:
- Are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin, or other NSAIDs.
- Have or have had a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding.
- Have severe heart, kidney or liver problems.
- Are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.
Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you:
- Have asthma, high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney problems or are elderly.
- Are taking blood-thinning medicines, steroids or other NSAIDs.
