Optive Lubricant Eye Drops - 10ml

Optive Lubricant Eye Drops (10ml) are dual-action lubricating eye drops for the temporary relief of dry eye symptoms, including dryness, irritation, burning and discomfort, whether caused by dry eye or environmental triggers such as wind, sun, air conditioning and screen use.

Optive helps in two ways:

• Lubricates the eye surface to reduce discomfort and friction (with carmellose sodium 0.5%).
• Moisturises/hydrates the ocular surface to support comfort and help restore the eye’s natural osmotic balance (with glycerin and osmoprotectants).

For use in the eyes only.

• Instil 1–2 drops into each affected eye as needed, or as directed by an eye care professional.

Step-by-step (good pharmacy practice)

1. Wash and dry hands.
2. Remove the cap.
3. Tilt head back, gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a pocket.
4. Hold the bottle above the eye and apply 1–2 drops.
5. Blink a few times to spread the drop across the eye surface.
6. Replace the cap tightly after use.

If using other eye products: leave a gap between products (use as advised by your pharmacist/optician).

After opening: discard any remaining solution 90 days after first opening.

Active ingredients

• Carmellose sodium (carboxymethylcellulose sodium) 0.5%
• Glycerin (glycerol)

Other ingredients (formulation supports tear film comfort)

• Levocarnitine, erythritol (osmoprotectants)
• Purified water and buffering agents (to maintain comfort and stability)

Do not use

• If you are allergic to any ingredient.
• If the solution becomes cloudy or changes colour, or if the seal is broken.

Important warnings

• To reduce contamination risk, do not touch the bottle tip to the eye, eyelid, fingers or any surface.
• Do not share eye drops with anyone else.
• Do not swallow.
• If you experience eye pain, changes in vision, continued/worsening redness or irritation, stop use and seek medical advice.
• Temporary mild stinging or brief blurred vision can occur after instillation; wait until vision clears before driving or using machinery.

Storage

• Store at room temperature and keep the bottle tightly closed. Discard 90 days after opening.
