Sea-Band - Adult Wrist Bands

Sea-Band® Adult Wrist Bands are drug-free acupressure wristbands designed to help relieve travel sickness, nausea and vomiting without the use of medication. They work by applying gentle, constant pressure to the P6 (Neiguan) acupressure point on each wrist, a technique traditionally used to reduce nausea.

Sea-Bands are suitable for a wide range of nausea-related conditions, including motion sickness during car, coach, boat and air travel, as well as nausea associated with pregnancy, migraines or medical treatments (where appropriate). They are reusable, washable and non-drowsy, making them ideal for adults who prefer a natural, medication-free option.

Directions for use (UK pharmacy-aligned guidance):

• Place one band on each wrist.
• Position the plastic stud so it presses on the P6 acupressure point, located approximately three finger widths below the palm crease, between the two tendons on the inner wrist.
• Bands should be worn before travel or at the first sign of nausea.
• Bands can be worn continuously and removed when symptoms subside.

General advice:

• Ensure bands fit snugly but are not too tight.
• Suitable for day or night use.
• If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a pharmacist or GP.

• Do not apply to broken, inflamed or irritated skin.

Possible Side Effects

• Sea-Band is generally very well tolerated.
• Rarely, mild skin irritation or pressure discomfort may occur.

• Hand wash in warm water and allow to air dry.
• Store in a clean, dry place when not in use.
