Sebco Coconut Oil Compound Ointment 40 g is a targeted topical treatment formulated for the management of dry, scaly scalp and skin conditions such as dandruff, seborrhoeic dermatitis, eczema and psoriasis. Its active blend — coal tar solution, salicylic acid and sulphur — works synergistically to soften hardened scales, support exfoliation and reduce itchiness, helping improve scalp comfort and appearance.

The ointment’s coconut oil base provides soothing emollient properties to help condition dry skin and support ease of application. Historically based on the trusted unguentum cocois recipe, Sebco has been used in UK clinical practice for many years as an effective, well-established scalp care option.

Directions:

• For external use only. Ensure the scalp or affected skin is clean and dry before application.

• Part hair where necessary and apply a thin ribbon of ointment to the affected area(s) of the scalp, avoiding the eyes and mucous membranes.

• Gently massage the ointment in and leave in place for approximately one hour. Some clinicians may advise leaving overnight for severe scaling.

• After the contact time, rinse thoroughly with warm water and shampoo to remove residue.

• Initially apply daily for 3–7 days until control is obtained, then once or twice weekly as needed for maintenance, unless directed otherwise by a clinician.

Warnings & Precautions:
