Description
Stugeron® 15mg Travel Sickness Tablets contain cinnarizine, an antihistamine used to help prevent and treat the symptoms of travel (motion) sickness, including nausea, vomiting, dizziness and vertigo. It works by helping to reduce the effects of movement on the balance organs of the inner ear.
Stugeron is suitable for use during car, coach, boat and air travel, and can also be used for certain balance disorders under medical advice. The compact 15-tablet pack is ideal for short trips, holidays and travel kits.

How to Use
Always follow the patient information leaflet or advice from a pharmacist.
Travel sickness dosing
- Adults: Take 2 tablets (30mg) two hours before travel, then 1 tablet every 8 hours if required.
- Children 5–12 years: Take 1 tablet two hours before travel, then ½–1 tablet every 8 hours if required.
- Children under 5 years: Not recommended.
Administration advice:
- Swallow tablets with water.
- Take preferably before travel for best effect.
- May cause drowsiness; avoid alcohol.
Ingredients
Active ingredient:
- Cinnarizine 15mg per tablet
Other ingredients include:
Lactose monohydrate, maize starch, povidone, magnesium stearate.

Warnings & Precautions
- May cause drowsiness. Do not drive or operate machinery if affected.
- Avoid alcohol, as it may increase drowsiness.
- Do not use if you are allergic to cinnarizine or any ingredients.
- Use with caution if you have Parkinson’s disease.
- If pregnant or breastfeeding, seek advice from a pharmacist or GP before use.
- Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Possible Side Effects
Common:
- Drowsiness
- Dry mouth
Less common:
- Stomach discomfort
- Headache
If you experience severe side effects or an allergic reaction (rash, swelling, breathing difficulty), stop taking the tablets and seek medical advice.
Storage
- Store below 25°C, in a dry place.
- Do not use after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
