What is Lansoprazole 30 mg Capsules?

Lansoprazole 30 mg capsules belong to a group of medicines called proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). These medicines reduce the amount of acid produced in the stomach, helping to relieve symptoms such as heartburn, acid reflux, and indigestion.

Your doctor may prescribe Lansoprazole 30 mg for:

  • Treatment and prevention of acid reflux (reflux oesophagitis).

  • Relief from heartburn and acid regurgitation.

  • Prevention of stomach or duodenal ulcers, especially in patients needing ongoing NSAID treatment.

  • Supporting treatment of Helicobacter pylori infection (with antibiotics).

  • Rare conditions such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome

Rabeprazole 10mg is usually recommended for symptomatic relief of acid reflux and long-term management of GORD.

How to Use
