Hydromol 3 in 1 Ointment - 100g

Hydromol 3 in 1 Ointment 100 g is a multi-purpose topical emollient designed to help relieve and manage dry, itchy, flaky and sensitive skin. Its 3-in-1 formulation works as an emollient moisturiser, a gentle bath oil / bath additive and an alternative to soap — helping to soften skin, support moisture retention and avoid further irritation that can be caused by traditional soaps or shower gels.

This ointment is particularly suitable for people with eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, ichthyosis and other dry skin conditions. It is free from added fragrances, colourings, preservatives and sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS), making it suitable for all ages, including children and adults with sensitive skin. 

Directions:

• All-purpose emollient: Apply Hydromol 3 in 1 Ointment to the affected skin areas using a smooth stroking action in the direction of hair growth. Use liberally and as often as required, particularly after washing or bathing to help lock in moisture.

• Bath additive: Melt a small amount of ointment in warm water in a suitable container, then add to the bath. Care should be taken as the bath surface may become slippery.

• Soap substitute: Use in place of soap or shower gel during washing to avoid stripping natural skin oils.

Important Advice:

• For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.

• Always wash hands before and after application unless treating the hands.

• If the skin is badly cracked, bleeding, infected or the condition worsens, consult a doctor, GP or pharmacist. 

Hydromol Ointment’s core ingredients help create a protective barrier that locks in moisture and soothes dry skin:

• Cetomacrogol Emulsifying Wax (contains cetostearyl alcohol & macrogol cetostearyl ether) – emulsifier and skin conditioner.

• Yellow Soft Paraffin – occlusive emollient to help reduce water loss and soften skin.

• Liquid Paraffin – highly occlusive moisturising agent that seals hydration into the skin.

Free From:

• Fragrances, artificial colours, preservatives and sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) — suitable for sensitive and reactive skin types.
