Product Overview
Nicorette Cools Lozenges Mint 2 mg 80 tablets deliver fast craving relief with a crisp mint taste. Nicotine Replacement Therapy tablets start to relieve cravings in around 2 minutes and are discreet and pocket-sized for use on-the-go.
Description
Nicorette Cools Lozenges Mint 2 mg – 80 Lozenges are a form of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) designed to help adults (and adolescents aged 12 years and over) manage nicotine withdrawal symptoms and cravings when quitting smoking or vaping, or when cutting down the number of cigarettes or e-cigarettes used.
Each lozenge contains 2 mg of nicotine, suitable for light to moderate smokers (generally those who smoke 20 cigarettes or fewer per day). As the lozenge dissolves slowly in the mouth, nicotine is released and absorbed through the lining of the mouth, helping to reduce the urge to smoke and ease withdrawal symptoms such as anxiety, restlessness and cravings.
The icy mint flavour provides a refreshing taste and long-lasting cooling sensation while supporting your quit attempt. Nicorette Cools Lozenges are pocket-sized and discreet, making them ideal for situations where smoking is not possible or desirable.
Brand: Nicorette — a trusted nicotine replacement therapy range.
Pack Size: 80 lozenges
Strength: 2 mg per lozenge
Form: Mint flavoured lozenge (dual-layer technology for gradual flavour and nicotine release)
How to Use
- Placement: Place one lozenge in the mouth and allow it to dissolve slowly. Do not chew or swallow the lozenge, but move it from side to side occasionally to aid dissolution.
- Frequency: Use 1 lozenge every 1–2 hours or when a craving arises — typically 8 to 12 lozenges per day.
- Maximum Daily Dose: Do not exceed 15 lozenges per day.
- Usage Duration: Continue using until cravings and withdrawal symptoms are controlled, then gradually reduce the number of lozenges used per day as part of your quit plan. For longer-term use beyond the recommended course, seek pharmacist or clinician advice.
- General Advice: Read the enclosed Patient Information Leaflet carefully before use and seek pharmacist support if you are uncertain about dosing or technique.
Nicorette Cools Lozenges can be used to completely replace cigarettes or e-cigarettes or can be used to substitute certain cigarettes/e-cigarettes if you are not ready to quit entirely, helping you cut down progressively.
