Product Overview
Nicorette QuickMist Mouthspray 13.2 ml delivers quick relief from smoking and vaping cravings with each oromucosal spray. Ideal for quit attempts and reduction plans.
Description
Nicorette QuickMist Mouthspray 13.2 ml is a nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) designed to help adults and adolescents (12 years and over) relieve and prevent cravings and withdrawal symptoms associated with stopping smoking tobacco or nicotine vaping, or when cutting down on cigarettes or vapes. It provides a safer alternative to continuing smoking by delivering small doses of nicotine through a mouth-spray that is absorbed quickly through the lining of the mouth.
Nicorette QuickMist begins to relieve cravings in about 30 seconds, making it one of the fastest-acting NRT formats. It is discreet and portable, suited for use on the go whenever cravings emerge. As part of a quit or reduction plan, QuickMist can improve chances of success when used alongside behavioural support and willpower.
Brand: Nicorette (by McNeil Products Ltd, Johnson & Johnson)
Pack Size: 13.2 ml mouthspray (providing ~150 sprays)
Type: Oromucosal nicotine mouth spray (NRT)
How to Use
- Adults and children 12 years and over only: Nicorette QuickMist is not for use in children under 12 years.
- Preparation: Shake the bottle if directed and prime the pump if it has not been used recently — press the spray top into tissue until a fine mist appears before first use.
- Spray technique: Hold the spray close to your open mouth and press once to deliver a single spray (1 mg nicotine) into the mouth, aiming toward the inside of the cheek or under the tongue to promote absorption without inhaling deeply.
- Dose timing: Use 1 spray when you would normally smoke or vape, or when cravings occur. If cravings are not controlled, use a second spray within a few minutes.
- Maximum limits: Do not exceed 2 sprays per dose, 4 sprays per hour, or 64 sprays in any 24-hour period.
- Avoid simultaneous eating or drinking: Wait a short time before consuming food or drinks after spraying to ensure optimal absorption.
Use Nicorette QuickMist as part of a structured stop-smoking plan, ideally with behavioural support or advice from a healthcare professional.

Side Effects & Warnings
Important Warnings
• For oromucosal use only: Nicorette QuickMist is intended to be sprayed into the mouth — do not inhale forcefully or spray into the throat or eyes. If spray contacts eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
• Age restriction: Not for use in children under 12 years due to nicotine toxicity risk.
• Nicotine overdose: Do not exceed 2 sprays per dose, 4 sprays per hour, or 64 sprays in 24 hours, as excessive nicotine can cause symptoms such as nausea, headache, dizziness, sweating and palpitations.
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Seek advice from a doctor, nurse or pharmacist before use; while NRT may be safer than smoking, quitting without NRT is preferable if possible.
• Allergies: Do not use if you are allergic to nicotine or any ingredient in the product. Check the label for full excipient details.
• Storage: Store below 25 °C in original packaging and keep out of the reach and sight of children. Nicotine can be toxic if accidentally ingested.
Common Side Effects
Side effects are often related to nicotine or the delivery format and may include:
• Mild mouth, throat or tongue irritation
• Hiccups
• Nausea or upset stomach
• Headache or dizziness
• Increased salivation or dry mouth
These effects are usually mild and transient. If persistent or severe side effects occur, consult a pharmacist or clinician.
Nicotine Withdrawal
Some effects may also reflect nicotine withdrawal symptoms as smoking or vaping is reduced (e.g., irritability, anxiety, restlessness). These are generally temporary and should be discussed with a healthcare professional if troubling.
