Nurofen Day & Night Cold & Flu 200mg/5mg – 16 Tablets is a dual-action cold and flu treatment designed to relieve multiple symptoms during the day and at night.

The pack contains two types of tablets:

• Day Tablets to relieve symptoms while helping you stay alert
• Night Tablets to ease symptoms and help you rest

Each tablet contains ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that helps relieve pain, inflammation and fever, plus a nasal decongestant to reduce nasal swelling and relieve a blocked nose.

Helps relieve:

• Headache
• Fever
• Sore throat pain
• Muscular aches and pains
• Blocked nose and sinus congestion
• Cold and flu discomfort

Suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over, this product is intended for short-term use only.

Adults and children aged 12 years and over:

Daytime:

• Take 1 Day tablet, up to three times daily as required.

Night-time:

• Take 1 Night tablet at bedtime.

Maximum dose:

• Do not exceed the stated daily dose shown on the pack.

UK pharmacy-aligned guidance:

• Swallow tablets whole with water.
• Leave at least 4–6 hours between doses.
• Take with food or milk if stomach irritation occurs.
• Do not take with other ibuprofen or decongestant-containing medicines.
• Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time necessary.
• If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, worsen or new symptoms occur, seek medical advice.

Active Ingredients:

Day Tablets (per tablet):

• Ibuprofen 200 mg
• Phenylephrine hydrochloride 5 mg

Night Tablets (per tablet):

• Ibuprofen 200 mg
• Diphenhydramine citrate 5 mg (antihistamine with sedating effect)

Other Ingredients:

• Microcrystalline cellulose
• Starch
• Magnesium stearate
• Film-coating agents

Warnings & Precautions

• Contains ibuprofen, an NSAID.
• Do not exceed the stated dose.
• Night tablets may cause drowsiness.

Do NOT take this medicine if you:

• Are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin, diphenhydramine, phenylephrine, or other NSAIDs.
• Have or have had a stomach ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation.
• Have severe heart, kidney or liver disease.
• Have severe high blood pressure.
• Are in the last 3 months of pregnancy.
• Are under 12 years of age.

Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you:

• Have asthma, diabetes, glaucoma or prostate problems.
• Have heart disease, high blood pressure or kidney problems.
• Are taking blood thinners, antidepressants or other cold & flu medicines.
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Possible Side Effects

Like all medicines, this product can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. These may include:

• Stomach pain, indigestion or nausea
• Dizziness or headache
• Drowsiness (night tablets)
• Allergic reactions such as rash or wheezing (rare)

⚠️ Stop use and seek medical advice immediately if you experience black stools, vomiting blood, severe stomach pain or breathing difficulties.

Storage

• Store below 25 °C.
• Keep tablets in the original packaging.
• Keep out of sight and reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date shown on the pack.
