Optive Fusion Eye Drops - 10ml

Optive Fusion Eye Drops 10ml are lubricating, hydrating eye drops designed to provide temporary relief of dry eye symptoms including dryness, irritation, burning and discomfort, whether caused by dry eye disease or environmental factors (for example screen use, air conditioning, wind or centrally heated environments).

Optive Fusion combines three complementary lubricants to support the tear film and improve comfort:

• Sodium hyaluronate 0.1% helps hydrate and support the tear film (a natural component associated with moisture retention).
• Sodium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) 0.5% helps lubricate the surface of the eye.
• Glycerin 0.9% helps moisturise and protect the ocular surface.

Contact lenses: Optive Fusion is stated as compatible with soft and rigid gas-permeable contact lenses.

Pack size: 10ml 

For use in the eyes only.

• Place 1 or 2 drops in each affected eye as needed.
• Re-cap after use and keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use.

Good practice (pharmacy-style application steps)

1. Wash and dry hands.
2. Remove cap. Avoid touching the bottle tip.
3. Tilt head back, pull down the lower eyelid, and instil 1–2 drops.
4. Blink gently to spread the drop across the eye surface.
5. Replace cap immediately after use.

If using other eye products: Allow at least 5 minutes between different ophthalmic products.

After opening: Discard any remaining solution 90 days after opening.

Active lubricants:

• Sodium carboxymethylcellulose 0.5%
• Glycerin 0.9%
• Sodium hyaluronate 0.1%

Other ingredients:

• Boric acid (0.7%), sodium borate decahydrate (0.2%), erythritol, sodium citrate dihydrate, potassium chloride, calcium chloride dihydrate, magnesium chloride hexahydrate, purified water; hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment.

Preservative:

• PURITE® 0.01%

Do not use

• If you are hypersensitive/allergic to any ingredient.
• If the packaging shows evidence of tampering, or the solution changes colour or becomes cloudy.

Important warnings

• Do not swallow.
• To avoid contamination or eye injury, do not touch the bottle tip to any surface and avoid direct contact with the eye.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Stop using and seek medical advice if you experience eye pain, changes in vision, continued redness/irritation, or if the condition worsens.
• May cause temporary blurred vision; wait until vision clears before driving or using machinery.

Possible side effects (reported)

• Eye pain, eye discharge, eye irritation, eyelid swelling (oedema), foreign body sensation, increased tearing, eye swelling; hypersensitivity reactions.

Storage

• Store at or below 25°C.
