Panadol Extra Advance - 32 Tablets

Panadol Extra Advance – 32 Tablets is a fast-absorbing pain relief medicine containing paracetamol with added caffeine to enhance pain-relieving effectiveness.

Formulated with Optizorb™ technology, Panadol Extra Advance helps paracetamol dissolve and be absorbed more quickly than standard paracetamol tablets, providing rapid and reliable relief when you need it most. The added caffeine helps boost the effectiveness of paracetamol, particularly for headache and migraine pain.

Panadol Extra Advance helps relieve:

• Headache and migraine
• Toothache
• Back pain
• Period pain
• Muscular aches and pains
• Fever (pyrexia)
• Cold and flu-related aches and pains

When used as directed, it is gentle on the stomach and suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over.

Adults and children aged 12 years and over:

• Take 1–2 tablets every 4–6 hours as required.

Maximum dose:

• Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours.

UK pharmacy-aligned guidance:

• Swallow tablets with water.
• Leave at least 4 hours between doses.
• Do not exceed the stated dose.
• Do not take with other medicines containing paracetamol.
• Avoid excessive consumption of caffeine-containing drinks while taking this medicine.
• If symptoms persist for more than 3 days, worsen or are severe, seek medical advice.

Active Ingredients (per tablet):

• Paracetamol 500 mg – pain relief and fever reduction
• Caffeine 65 mg – enhances pain relief

Other Ingredients:

• Sodium starch glycolate
• Maize starch
• Povidone
• Magnesium stearate

Warnings & Precautions

• Contains paracetamol. Do not exceed the stated dose.
• Do not take with any other paracetamol-containing products.
• Contains caffeine; excessive intake may cause restlessness, irritability or sleep disturbance.

Do NOT take this medicine if you:

• Are allergic to paracetamol, caffeine or any other ingredient.
• Have severe liver disease.
• Are under 12 years of age.

Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use if you:

• Have liver or kidney problems.
• Are underweight or malnourished.
• Are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Possible Side Effects

Like all medicines, Panadol Extra Advance can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. Rarely:

• Skin rash or allergic reactions
• Nervousness or difficulty sleeping (due to caffeine)

⚠️ Seek immediate medical advice if too much paracetamol is taken, even if you feel well, as serious liver damage can occur.

Storage

• Store below 25 °C.
• Keep tablets in the original packaging.
• Keep out of sight and reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date shown on the pack.
