How to Use

  • When to take: Take one tablet about 15–30 minutes before sex (your dose will be set by your clinician).

  • How often: Do not take more than once in 24 hours.

  • With food: You can take it with or without food. A heavy meal may slow it down a little.

  • Alcohol: Try to limit alcohol—it can make side effects worse and make the medicine less effective.

  • Grapefruit: Avoid grapefruit or grapefruit juice for 24 hours before taking a dose.

  • Other medicines: Some medicines interact with Spedra. Always tell your doctor/pharmacist what you take (including herbal and over-the-counter).

  • Missed dose: It’s taken only when needed—don’t take an extra tablet to “make up” for anything.

  • If you take too much: Seek medical help straight away and take the pack/leaflet with you.
