Cura-Heat Back & Shoulder Pain - 7 Patches

Cura-Heat Back & Shoulder Pain – 7 Patches are air-activated heat patches designed to provide targeted, temporary warming relief for minor muscular and joint aches and pains in the back and shoulder area.

The patch warms gradually and radiates heat through clothing to help:

• decrease stiffness
• improve mobility
• relax tense, aching muscles

Heat duration: Cura-Heat’s penetrating heat action lasts for 12 hours, and once removed, pain relief can continue for a further 12 hours (up to 24 hours total).

Design: thin, discreet and fragrance-free.

Pack size: 7 single-use heat patches.

Directions

1. Open the sachet by hand (do not cut with scissors) and remove the heat patch.
2. Peel away the paper strip and adhere to the outside of clothing/underwear on the back or shoulder area.
3. Before using, evenly spread the contents of the patch. Do not knead.
4. The patch is air-activated and reaches optimal heat in about 30 minutes.
5. To remove or reposition, tear off slowly. Do not pick the patch surface to avoid inner contents spilling and damaging clothes/skin.
6. After use, dispose in normal household waste. Do not incinerate.

• For external use only.
• Do not open the sachet until you’re ready to use it (air-activated).
• Single use only. Use only as directed and by the expiry date.
• If symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical attention. 

Cura-Heat heat patches contain: Iron, activated carbon and water (these oxidise on contact with air to produce heat).

Burn hazard

Follow directions carefully to prevent skin burns (redness/spots or blisters). Burns may occur even without a strong burn sensation.

Do not use

• Never apply this heat patch directly to the skin (apply to clothing/underwear only).
• On tights or netted underwear where skin could be exposed directly to the patch.
• While sleeping.
• With another heating device.
• If you cannot remove it immediately if it becomes too hot.
• On people unable to remove it themselves (e.g., infants/children, the elderly, disabled people).
• Children 12 years and under.
• On any area other than the back and shoulder area.
• If you have rheumatoid arthritis, heart disease, poor circulation, nerve damage, paralysis, sensory impairment, a skin condition, diabetes, or if you are pregnant.
• Over bruised, inflamed, irritated, broken or swollen skin, scarred skin, open wounds, frostbitten skin, or skin that cannot sense heat or cold.
• During exercise.
• If you are bedridden or prone to skin ulcers.

Use with extra care

• Check the skin every hour over the application area. Stop use and seek medical attention if you notice rash, itching, pain, burning or other abnormal reaction.
• Allow air to circulate and avoid extra pressure (do not lie or sit on the patch; avoid tight clothing over it).
• Do not use with other creams/rubs/lotions/sprays or near other heat sources.
• Do not bring into contact with liquids; do not cut, tear, fold or make holes in the patch.

Time limit

• Do not use over the same area for more than 12 hours in any 24-hour period.

If the patch tears or contents escape

• If heating ingredients contact the body, rinse with water and seek immediate medical attention if any abnormal reaction occurs.
• Avoid getting inner contents in the eyes or swallowing. If swallowed: rinse mouth and seek immediate medical attention. If in eyes: rinse with clean water (do not rub) and seek immediate medical attention.

Storage

Store at room temperature away from direct sunlight and extreme dryness. Keep out of reach of children, pets and anyone unable to use the product safely.
