Description
Pirinase Hayfever Relief for Adults 0.05% Nasal Spray is a once-daily anti-inflammatory nasal spray indicated for the treatment and prevention of seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever) and airborne allergies in adults aged 18 years and over. Its active corticosteroid, fluticasone propionate, targets inflammatory processes at the source in nasal tissues to help alleviate the full spectrum of hay fever symptoms, including nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, itchy nose, and itchy or watery eyes associated with allergen exposure.
The formulation is non-drowsy, allowing daytime use without sedative effects, and aims to provide up to 24 hours of relief with regular use. The 60-spray format is suitable for seasonal treatment courses and day-to-day allergy management.

How to Use
Adults (18 years and over): Shake the bottle gently before use.
• Usual dose:2 sprays into each nostril once a day, preferably in the morning.
• Maintenance dosing: Once symptoms are controlled, you may be able to reduce to 1 spray into each nostril once daily; always use the lowest effective dose.
• Do not exceed 2 sprays per nostril in any 24-hour period.
• If symptoms do not improve after 7 days, consult your doctor or pharmacist for further advice.
• This product is not recommended for children under 18 years.

• For intranasal use only. Do not inhale the spray or apply to eyes or mouth.
• Seek advice before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or planning pregnancy.
• Do not use more than recommended doses.
• Do not use continuously for more than 1 month without consulting a doctor.
• Consult a clinician/pharmacist if symptoms persist beyond 7 days, worsen, or new symptoms occur.
• Do not use if taking certain medicines (e.g., strong HIV medicines) without medical advice.
• Not suitable for children under 18 years.
• Store below 30 °C and keep out of the sight and reach of children.
• Contains benzalkonium chloride which may cause irritation in some individuals.
Possible Side Effects
Some users may experience local nasal irritation, dryness, sneezing or transient burning/stinging on application.
Less commonly, prolonged use of intranasal corticosteroids may be associated with nosebleeds or mild throat irritation.
Serious side effects are rare; if you develop persistent nosebleeds, severe discomfort, visual disturbances or signs of an allergic reaction (e.g., rash, swelling, breathing difficulties), stop use and seek medical advice.
